The Mobile World Congress to be held at the Barcelona Gran Via Fira exhibition centre will once again be the most important meeting point for mobile telecommunications worldwide. This will be the eleventh time the most important congress in the sector is being held in the city and it is set to beat last year’s records. In 2015, more than 93,000 visitors from 200 countries met here to get first-hand experience of the latest in mobile technology.
King-eClient will again be highlighting the importance of Mobile User Experience. Everyone clearly wants their users to enjoy a trouble-free mobile browser experience, but it’s frightening how many fantastic projects come to nothing because the mobile design isn’t suitable or the information architecture is badly structured.
Over the last 15 years, KEC has been working to ensure that our clients’ great ideas don’t sink without trace because users don’t understand the concept or can’t find their way around the mobile application. Since 2000 King-eClient has grown and expanded and we now have offices in four countries: Spain, Belgium, Saudi Arabia and Andorra. We work predominantly with large Spanish and international corporations and with European Union Institutions.
Our core focus is User Experience, but over the last 15 years we have diversified into a number of different areas. We help our customers reach the highest standards of excellence in eBusiness, interactive web design and data visualization and we develop and deploy communication, digital marketing and social media strategies. Our clients come from a number of different sectors: banking, the pharmaceutical industry, energy, retail, insurance and telecommunications.
What can you expect to see from us at the Mobile World Congress?
In addition to finding out more about our services and taking advantage of networking opportunities, you can take part in the Mobile User Experience (MUX) Champions League. This is a league in which the 10 most important MUX concepts are pitted against each other to find out which one is the most highly valued. How will this be done? The experts who come to the Congress will be invited to identify the most important MUX qualities. Then, each day there will be three polls of visitors’ opinions, with rankings posted at the end of the day. Our objective is to find out which of the concepts are most important for the end user. On the last day we will post the final table, and from that we will be able to draw our final conclusions.
Where can you find us?
Our founders, José Luis Infiesta and Javier Aguilar, our International Director, Oriol Rojals, and one of our eBusiness consultants, Arnau Rovira, will be delighted to welcome you to Stand CS50 in the Hall Congress Square.
We look forward to seeing you in Barcelona between 22 and 25 February.
